An uncomplicated red bike's twilight
My neighbor rides this little three speed all over town, he tells me that he had so much more energy when he was twelve; he is now in his sixties. I like the simplicity of the three speeds, the elegant beauty of faded fire engine red. But like the setting sun, it's time is finite. Like all things. Like everyone, fading with time.

my fave picture so far :-)
OK I'm commenting again b/c I love this picture. It brings back a zillion memories. And the cottage in the back ... charming. I'm too scared to ride my bike on busy roads - so I guess I'll have to pass on the 3-speed. But I really love this picture! You captured something special :-)
