Silverton.

Pam took us out on Saturday. To be totally honest the aventure could have been better, but it was fun. The kids like to move a little faster, as do I. But we did have fun in Pams favorite yarn store, went into a fun little import shop. Pam Spioled the kids a bit, which I think is a little cute. Oh, and we saw Stu, the United States only openly transgendered Mayor. But the Park was where it was at! In Silverton there is a great park with REALLY tall swings, I pushed Pamela and she loved it. I pushed the kids and they got scared.

Is it a self portrait if someone else presses the button?

So my eight year old, Stephen helped me take this shot in my dark living room. I'm manually using a detached flash on a one second exposure. Darkened and softened the image and used a portrait plugin in Photoshop. Painted out one of the shirts I was wearing. The funniest part, Emma is in the background, on the couch, playing on my new phone.

Original (lightened the background a lot so you can see Emma.)

Steve's New Hat

Swung by Andy and Bach's this weekend with Stephen. He got a real arctic weather, rabbit fur lined hat. Also acquired, a pair of wool fingerless gloves. His thinking behind them: "I will still be able to shoot."
